Meeting essentials for babies/toddlers and young children

Back to meetings! Many of our kids were very small at their last meeting or haven’t even been to a meeting!

Stressed about bringing small children back to the Kingdom Hall? Do you have super active kids like me? Here are my top picks for keeping little ones occupied at the meeting…

..

These top two items are the priciest, but an absolute MUST for my family. We have had both of these Busy Books since my oldest was a baby, and they’ve held up for over five years. Jam-packed with interesting activities and bright colored pieces to keep any child from 6 months-4 years old quiet for a long time!

The suction cup spinner toys are ideal for your tiniest meeting companions. Babies love that they spin, and parents love that they have a suction on the back to stay put! Fat Brain Toys, the company who makes this, is well-known for using the highest quality silicone and baby-safe materials so your teethers can gnaw away!

This colorful drawing pad is mess-free, reusable, and your children can push one button to erase and make infinite amounts of pictures. My two year old and six year old both love this so much that we need to buy a new one before meetings resume so they can each have their own and stop bickering over who gets it first!

I can’t say enough good things about simple dot stickers. They are so versatile! We like to write Bible-themed words in big letters on paper and have our little one put dot stickers on the paper to trace each letter. Simple, effective, and super easy to set up.

These crayons are PERFECT for tiny hands! They are larger than normal and have a triangle-shape to promote proper pencil grip. Bonus: the triangular sides mean they wont roll off a notebook and under someone’s seat in front of you! (My daughter once broke a box of crayons at the hall, and they rolled everywhere! Spilled into the aisles, through a few rows in front, as well as a row behind! Gahhh!)

This clipboard is sturdy and great for use with printouts from the JW website. You can even store extra paper right inside of it.

These magnetic storage bags are great for keeping any writing utensils and coloring tools. They can stick onto a whiteboard and stay put, so you can keep your hands free and not have to hold their crayons or markers!

These are fantastic whiteboards for little hands! Small, light, and double-sided, we have gotten years and years out of ours.

Magnetic whiteboard markers that stick to the board so they’re not rolling under chairs? Yes, please! (You can tell that earlier crayon incident really scarred me lol!)

My daughter loves colored pencils, but only when they are sharp. I get it! But I don’t want to be sharpening her pencils during the meeting. The shavings get all in our bags, it’s always super loud and squeaky, and I just don’t like it. But these twistable colored pencils are the perfect solution!

Stick any printable coloring sheet from our website into one of these clear pockets, grab some whiteboard markers, and feel happy that you can reuse and reuse those papers without having to print more and waste expensive printer ink!
